Eleanor McClellan Bulathsinghalage joined the staff of Mississippi State University in August of 2005 as a Lecturer in Voice. She has been a member of the Music staffs of the University of Dayton (Ohio), Central State University (Ohio) the Mississippi University for Women, Wilberforce University (Ohio), and Bellarmine University (Kentucky).

McClellan has been a winner in The National Federation of Music Clubs Competition in both Alabama and Kentucky; the Kentucky National Association of Teachers of Singing Competition and a MET Regional Finalist. She has attended Courses and Masterclasses at "The Aspen Music Festival" in Aspen, Colorado; "The Institute for Advanced Vocal Studies" in Paris, France and the "Festival di Monte Giorgio" in Italy. While a resident of Rome,Italy, she attended the International Masterclasses of 'Vocalità ed Interpretazione' of the "Accademia AIDA" under the guidance of Maestra Doris Andrews and the course 'Avviamento Professionale' held by her teacher and Maestro Italo Nunziata.

She has interpreted roles such as Lia in Claude Debussy's "L'Enfant Prodique", Erste Dame in W. A. Mozart's "Die Zauberflote," La Strega in Henry Purcell's "Dido and Aeneas", a Hen in "The Cunning Little Vixen" by Janacek and Bloody Mary in "South Pacific" by Rodgers and Hammerstein. In Concert she has sung arias and ensembles as Liu in Puccini's "Turandot", Clara, Serena and Bess in Geshwin's "Porgy and Bess, Desdemona in "Otello" by Verdi, Donna Anna in "Don Giovanni", Fiordiligi in "Cosi fan tutte", and La Contessa in "Le Nozze di Figaro" all by Mozart. She interpreted the role of Lievy Pisa in "The Stephen Foster Story" by Paul Shortt in Bardstown, Kentucky and in Japan, performing in all the big theatres of Japan and on Japanese radio and television. In Italy she participated in the 25th and 27th sessions of the Rome Festival and was a member of the International Soloist Group directed by Maestro Fulvio Angius - 'AIDA' of Roma and 'R. Accademia Filarmonica' of Bologna.

Along with performances of traditional Lieder, Chansons and Art Songs, she also dedicates herself to the repertoire of African American and Women Composers and Music of the 20th Century, performing premieres of works composed by Contemporary Composers such as Drazena Bubalo, Richard Montalto and Patsy Simms.

In 2000, McClellan premiered a song dedicated to the 'Virgin Mary', by Kentucky Composer Patsy Simms for the Inaugural Concert "Maria Mater Mundi" of the 20th Mariology Congress. Ms. Simms and Ms.McClellan performed the piece, which was aired internationally by Vatican Radio and Television, at 'Aula Paolo VI' in the Vatican City. In January and February of 2001, McClellan returned to Japan where she was heard in Recital and with the Kumamoto Opera performing the music of Mascagni, Verdi, Copland, and many American Composers. Recent concert appearances have included sections of Michael Tippett's "A Child of Our Time" with the Dayton Bach Society.

During the summer, she works with organizations such as the Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp in Twin Lake, Michigan, the Kentucky Governor's School for the Arts and the Vandalia Youth Theatre.
