Sheri Falcone is currently the Instructor of Applied Woodwinds at Mississippi State University. At Mississippi State, Ms. Falcone teaches clarinet, saxophone, directs the clarinet and saxophone ensembles, and teaches woodwind and instrumental technique classes for music education majors. In addition to her teaching duties, she performs with the Starkville Symphony Orchestra, performs as a soloist and maintains a very busy private studio. She has been a featured clinician, conductor, adjudicator, and soloist at contests and festivals in Delaware, New York, South Carolina, and Mississippi.

Prior to her appointment at Mississippi State University, Ms. Falcone was the Assistant Band Director at Sedgefield Middle School and Goose Creek High School and served as one of the clarinet instructors at Charleston Southern University in Charleston, South Carolina. Other teaching experiences include two years in Syracuse, New York. She has been involved as a performer with the Charleston Community Band and Jazz Band (1999-2000) and Onondaga County Music Educator Association Wind Ensemble from 1990-1999 and has performed as a guest soloist with the Bear Cat Jazz Ensemble at the New York State Fair.

Ms. Falcone is an active member of Mississippi Music Educators Asoociation, Music Educators National Conference, Music Educators National Association, South Carolina Band Directors Association, New York State School Music Association, and an honorary member of Tau Beta Sigma. Ms. Falcone holds an Applied Arts and Science Degree from Onondaga Community College (1992), Bachelor's of Music Education (1994), Masters of Music in Clarinet Performance and Masters of Music Education (1999), from Syracuse University and will pursue a D.M.A in Summer 2002.
