Double Reed Day 2024 set for April 6
Join the MSU oboe and bassoon studios for Double Reed Day 2024! This free event is open to double reed players in middle school, high school, and community college. Parents and band directors are welcome to attend along with their students.
The day will include a variety of sessions, including a reed making class, performances by MSU double reed studios, focus on double reed fundamentals, and mass double reed ensemble rehearsals and performances. Bring your instrument and your reed tool kit if you have one - reed making tools will be available to borrow during the reed making class. A detailed itinerary will be available in early April and will be sent to all registered students via the email address entered in the registration form.
