Courses 

MU 1213 Music Theory 1 

Music Theory 1 provides a foundational understanding of music structure, harmony, and composition. May require a registration override for non-music majors. 

MU 1321 Ear Training 1 

Ear Training 1 develops critical listening skills essential for identifying pitch, rhythm, and tonal nuances. May require a registration override for non-music majors. 

MU 1553 Computer Skills for Musicians 

Introduces students to software and digital tools essential for modern music production. May require a registration override for non-music majors. 

MU 2573 Microphone Techniques

Microphone Techniques covers microphone types, placement strategies, and recording environments to capture high-quality audio. 

MU 3543 Music Business & Ethics 

Explores the business aspects of the music industry, including contracts, copyright, and ethical practices.

MU 3553 Audio Production 1

Audio Production 1 provides hands-on experience with recording and production techniques in a professional studio setting.
