2025 MSU Solo and Ensemble Festival
Open to students grades 8 through 12 and community college students, this festival is a wonderful opportunity for students to expand their musicianship skills by performing a solo or in a chamber music ensemble with their friends for feedback from professional musicians and teachers.
Two Ways to Participate:
1. Live in Person
WHEN? Saturday, April 5, 2025 in the Lecture-Recital Hall in the Music Building at Mississippi State University.
*We will provide a collaborative pianist for those performing solos on the
Recommended Repertoire List live in person at the festival*
*ALL PERCUSSION auditions must be submitted VIRTUALLY
instead of performing live in person*
2. Virtually
HOW? Email video submissions by Saturday, April 5, 2025 by 11:59pm (preferably in unlisted YouTube video format) to matthew.haislip@msstate.edu
Registration forms and fee for both ways of participating DUE: Friday, March 28th, 2025
